SOC Cluc Meeting

Do not forget! We have a SOC club meeting at 2:30 pm in Swayne Hall rm 200 on Nov 21. See you there!

Food Distribution- November 6

Students will travel to Oxford, AL and help distribute food and coats. This event is sponsored by Word Alive International Outreach. Students will leave the TC campus at 8 and return around 1:30 pm. You should bring spending money to purchase lunch before returning to campus. Please contact Ms. Davis (Seymour 112, 256-761-6366) for more information or to sign up.

The deadline to sign up is November 6.

Trip to Alabama A&M- November 7

The sociology club will travel with the social work department on November 7 to Alabama A&M. Students will get a chance to learn more about the Alabama A&M master degree program in social work. Please contact Ms. Davis (Seymour 112, 256-761-6366) for more information or to sign up.

The deadline to sign up is November 1.

Sociology Club Meeting- October 31

We will have a spoooky Soc Club meeting on October 31 @ 2:30 in Swayne Hall RM 202.

HIV Seminar- Oct 24 & Nov 4

Club members will be attending an HIV seminar sponsored by the TC social work club. The seminar will be held on October 24 and Nov 4 from 1-2. Please contact Ms. Davis (Seymour 112, 256-761-6366) for more information or to sign up.

The sociology club is still accepting new members. The club is open to students of all majors. It is an excellent opportunity for people to participate in meaningful community service work, develop their leadership, and community organization skills.
